Hello 2As,

I hope this post could put a stop to all those negative comments on the party.We know its BORING to keep eating the same food served in the canteen,even on special occasions like TEACHERS' DAY etc..

Its seems that the class have some misconception and misunderstanding about our roles and what we are doing.

Actually,teachers' day is not just about food.

This occasion is for the students to show their gratitude to their teachers and to increase bonding in the class, and also to take a break and enjoy ourselves.

Of course, i understands that food;eating plays an important part in enjoying ourselves.



But however, i thought that we should not spend everything on this party alone. We still have the end-of-year party/chalet to run.So, ME set a budget of $100 for food , not $190+.

$100 for food,the rest for decorations,teachers' gifts,games winner presents , wrapping paper etc.. And the extra for end-of-year.



For the food part-we ask for suggestions,some of 2As thought that canadian pizza were'nt nice and they suggested that we could order from pizza hut which is nicer,but they were far too expensive and way beyond budget.Also, some suggested satay,sushi etc.



Suggestions are fine.Really.

But we were really pissed off when ppl started cracking jokes at inappropriate time, or even when they spoke in a harsh tone with weird expressions.

Therefore,we apologised for our nasty attitudes/tone/expression during that day or any other day



Another thing that we have to look out for when we are deciding on the food is that :-

We have to get halal food, vegetarian food and not-so-expensive food.


I understand that friends were asking why they had to pay so much if they were only eating canteen food. The reason is , well.. there are 34 pupils in 2A, every single one of us

paid the same amount of cash so you can't expect us to buy no-halal items,or food that not everybody can eat.Finally, we certainly did not catch any one saying "anything lor" or "anything hor" or "anything bor" , or we could'nt hear.We were unable to order fast food because of our tight budget and not everyone could eat.


I hope everyone could try to squeeze yourself into our shoes and try to enjoy the party tommorow.


Anyway,i think its not worth to let food affect our one-and-a-half-year-plus friendship.Right?


Food:- Material that provide living things nutrients.
Basically we consume it every day and pass it out after digesting.
Food is the same as long as it provides you with nutrients.

Friendship:-The mutual feelings of trust and affection and the behaviour that
typify relationships between friends

Not only are we enthusiastic, we are also talented(we have drama-kings and drama-queens, you know), lovable, adorable, creative, wild, and born-comedian. We are one colourful and bright class, we have students hailing from Myanmar and China, and believers like the christians, muslims and free-thinkers.
