It's a 3D2N thing on 16th December to 18thDecember at East Coast Park (hope you don't mind the venue though...).
Everyone going is required to pay a fee of $20 to Dexter Tan Yi Jie, 3C by next wednesday (if not, he's probably going to kill you).

Things to bring for chalet

HELLO EVERYBODY, YENSHAN IS BACKKK. :D

I'm here to inform you people what to bring for chalet, so please take note...

For those who are staying overnight, bring enough clothes (shirt/pant/skirt/anything, esp UNDERWEAR =.=), so you can bathe and change.
Must bring cash to continue living there, cos second day will be on your own expense. It's a must.
Bring towel, MUST BRING! For your information, if we use the towel provided, we have to pay our own.
For personal hygiene, unless you want to share, please be reminded to bring along your toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and others such as shampoo, shower, facial form.
Plastic bag to keep your stinky stuff, so bring along too.
Bring sleeping bags too, unless you don't mind sleeping on the floor, cannot guarantee that it would be clean.
Handphone, wallet, Mp3 are allowed xD but we will not be responsible if anything is lost, so bring at your own risk. I repeat myself, at your own risk, ok?
Anything else, kindly be patient, cos I am still thinking. Get you back when date is nearer.

I was just curious and decided to ask Yenshan when the BBQ night would be held.
She said it was the 2nd night, 12 Dec.

11,12,13th december is the chalet right.

I THINK THE BETTER WAY WOULD BE THIS.

How about we have it one the 11th night, the first night. So that we can have it for the whole night and we can clear up slowly the next day. Then after that can relax and do free things until check out.

If you do second night then all of your would be worn out as you have to clean and pack up by 10.30 checkout the next day. THEN CANNOT ENJOY LIAO!!!!!!!!!!

This is my first time here posting. Wahaha. Ok, I'm here to talk about the EOY class chalet.

PRICE!
Ok 2A, I hoped that you people are willing to pay slightly more for the chalet. (Yeah, since it's chalet) ...There is a change in the price. Alright, it is no longer going to be $12/per person, but it is increased to $15/per person. Would it be alright? Those who have financial problem, please inform any of us.

VENUE!
The place of the chalet would most probably be at Pasir Ris, Downtown East; COSTA SANDS. We're going to book the DUPLEX CHALET which cost us $145 (Ntuc member)/ $290 (Non-member). Duplex Chalet refers to a 2Storey chalet, so you can be assured. x) It will be 2D1N, and I wished that you people can cherish the time there. x3s

BBQ FOOD!
Our beloved classmate, Sherra, had this "lobang" to order marinated food. We are allowed to choose 6 dishes to barbecue there, is that ok? The dishes such as, chicken wings, otar, cheesy ball... And for other food such as, hotdogs, crabstick and more, we will buy ourselves at any supermarket.

UTENSILS!
We are also be getting equipments for barbecue-ing. Whoever knows where to get cheap cheap disposable utensils such as, plastic fork, spoon, plate, etc., please share with us and inform us the place. :) Others such as, charcoals, bbq grill, fire starter or more, we will get it at supermarket as well. ^^

GAMES!
It is mostly going to be your freetime to gather with your best friend and enjoy "gay-ly". However, evening will be our class gathering for BBQ. *NOTE!

Why cant everyone sit down and talk nicely to each other? Now that the class is in a chaos, other classes would take this opportunity to attack us. This is a problem that we can avoid, it's not god's will or what shyt. I apologised here for losing my temper sometimes, but its human nature to do that when they are unhappy.

Nobody is perfect, the committees lose temper and the class lose temper too. So who can we blame? Human's nature? Sometimes we tried to control ourselves, but we couldnt. The anger just take control of everything, and that's how misunderstandings occur.

Yea, the committees have already told their side of story. So, i think we need to hear both side of story.

I think maybe you can ask us where we can find the cheapest colour papers, popular's stuff are super ex, although their quality is good. But why bother about the quality when we are just going to throw everything away? I bet a lot of places are selling them at a much cheaper price (eg. the provision shop near my house). We can save $2.20 from it, and i suppose with that amount of money, the class would have enough to eat. You happy, i happy, everyone happy.

And i think the commitees must have been having a hard time coping up with their studies and this party thing, that's why they lost their temper. Both sides are at fault, both sides made the same mistake, but if you all really need to blame someone, blame it on ourselves, not others. The canteen food thing have been cleared, now the cleaning up of class, this is neverending. You cant blame the class for not helping out because they thought its the party cleaner's job. So let's blame Mdm Tan for this okay =X? Live each day like there is no tomorrow, you dont know when you are dying, so why not cherish everyone and everything now? You wouldnt want to regret for what you did right? Let's take this as a lesson learnt and get rid of the no party no conflicts thinking okay?

Dont tell me you wouldnt have any party anymore because of this? Some things can be avoided so, i hope we are still having an EOY party okay? I am willing to pay more for a chalet, it's a once in a lifetime thing! Cherish okay?

Hello 2As,

I hope this post could put a stop to all those negative comments on the party.We know its BORING to keep eating the same food served in the canteen,even on special occasions like TEACHERS' DAY etc..

Its seems that the class have some misconception and misunderstanding about our roles and what we are doing.

Actually,teachers' day is not just about food.

This occasion is for the students to show their gratitude to their teachers and to increase bonding in the class, and also to take a break and enjoy ourselves.

Of course, i understands that food;eating plays an important part in enjoying ourselves.

But however, i thought that we should not spend everything on this party alone. We still have the end-of-year party/chalet to run.So, ME set a budget of $100 for food , not $190+.

$100 for food,the rest for decorations,teachers' gifts,games winner presents , wrapping paper etc.. And the extra for end-of-year.

For the food part-we ask for suggestions,some of 2As thought that canadian pizza were'nt nice and they suggested that we could order from pizza hut which is nicer,but they were far too expensive and way beyond budget.Also, some suggested satay,sushi etc.

Suggestions are fine.Really.

But we were really pissed off when ppl started cracking jokes at inappropriate time, or even when they spoke in a harsh tone with weird expressions.

Therefore,we apologised for our nasty attitudes/tone/expression during that day or any other day

Another thing that we have to look out for when we are deciding on the food is that :-

We have to get halal food, vegetarian food and not-so-expensive food.

I understand that friends were asking why they had to pay so much if they were only eating canteen food. The reason is , well.. there are 34 pupils in 2A, every single one of us

paid the same amount of cash so you can't expect us to buy no-halal items,or food that not everybody can eat.Finally, we certainly did not catch any one saying "anything lor" or "anything hor" or "anything bor" , or we could'nt hear.We were unable to order fast food because of our tight budget and not everyone could eat.

I hope everyone could try to squeeze yourself into our shoes and try to enjoy the party tommorow.

Anyway,i think its not worth to let food affect our one-and-a-half-year-plus friendship.Right?

Food:- Material that provide living things nutrients.
Basically we consume it every day and pass it out after digesting.
Food is the same as long as it provides you with nutrients.

Friendship:-The mutual feelings of trust and affection and the behaviour that
typify relationships between friends

I mean, really, its getting on my nerve. We're all friends, and everybody's happy. We care, and I don't want our class to split up just because of some things. Its probably our last year together, which is bad enough, and fighting is really gonna get us nowhere.

Damn, I don't like these conflicts. Well, I'm not involved, I don't feel pinched, of course.

Greetings to 2A!

The cheerful-most girl in class has hopped by for a visit. Yeah, right.

Hokay. i was just trying to cheer the people who are currently having a friendship-problem.

Everyone makes mistakes. Whether it's big or it's small, they are considered as mistakes because no one is perfect. Learn from your mistakes and move on. Today will be better than yesterday and Tomorrow will be way better then today.

Forgive and Forget. Remember this phrase all your life because it always comes in handy. i know it's hard to forgive, let alone, forget. But if you would just stop and think what was the cause of the problem and why have you been so pissed and upset at the person, you'll find yourself forgiving the person and forget about the situation.

True Friends. Sometimes you think you have many friends, but guess what, they gossip about you behind your back. i know it hurts, the feeling hurts alot. But look on the bright side, he/she have got seriously nothing better to do so why bother hating that ONE person.

i, personally, don't hate anyone because i don't see that there's a need to hate someone. Hating someone would just mean that you'll get more upset, and your mind will be filled with so much hatred. So, why not substitute Joy into Hatred? It'll give your mind and soul more freedom to laugh and sing(:

Cry. Cry out loud if you need to. Crying is alot better than bottling up all your mixed emotions and feelings inside you. Seriously. And it's portable! You can cry at home, in school, to your parents and friends. (Oh god, it's like i'm some kind of advertisement now.)

Yeah, we made it for the competition singing thing. I'm not very enthusiastic, considering we will have to perform on stage. Blah.

I think our blogskin's a bit too, plain slash boring? Oh, yes it is. Other classes have super colourful background while ours are...oh you know.

2A, I think we should start studying. Saying it is easy, but not doing it. I am struggling with Math, and I think that Maths buddy thing doesn't really help much. And there's loads of things to study and we've got 4 weeks left. Dot dot dot.

I do love you guys, but sometimes you guys can turn me off.

Please, just agree with the decisions the committee makes for the party. Class party is for enjoying and bonding, not the need to eat your favourite food. So of you are fuss-pots and you guys just disagree on what we are doing for the party. We've got enough problems to handle, and we don't you guys to add on.

If we say its THAT, its THAT. No opinions shall be asked. Food is a particular problem and it is creating problems for us.

Please do save up your money, cause we need class fund. No complains, you complain you can get out.

Okay, about the trip today. i thought it was going to be a really really fun and exciting trip for us, 2A but for some reasons and stuff, everyone got into a really bad mood.

i would just like to say sorry. The whole problem may or may not start from me, but i would just like to say sorry. I have a part to play in this whole problem too. But it all started with cameras and tourguides. The school wanted the best for us and so we shouldn't let cameras and outsiders ruin our friendship.

i have noticed that some people in our class have been impersonating each other for what-so-ever-reason-i-don't-care. i have no idea why anyone would do such a silly-cum-stupid thing but yes, it just so happens that we're in 2A.

i know it's fun but don't you find it so silly. So childish. And please be reminded that we have only half a year, SIX MONTHS, to be together, united as one class, 2A. I don't not wish to see or hear any more of such cases happening in front of our very eyes. Even though you think the others don't know the truth, but in fact, we know the whole story even better than you even do.

MYEs are over, I'm sure you kids love it. Today is marking day and well, everybody must be slacking, shopping, reading, jumping or whatever. I'm going shopping :D

HAHAHA. Oh, anyway, Eileen brought up the thing about watching a movie together as a class. I LIKED IT! It helps to bond with each other, and have fun. Planning a class party is NOT easy, so this is a good solution. It saves us time, energy and money. Oh, please do consider this idea.

You guys know what? I love 2A. I just can't believe it that we have been together as a class for almost two years. I came into 1A last year, thinking that "oh my, this class is gonna suck, everybody is a nerdddddd,"(ps, I was a nerd too!). But as days passed, I made friends. Friends who were a gift to my life, friends who made a difference. I didn't like some of y'all when I first knew y'all. But this year, I could practically joke with any 2A, hahaha. We've come together as a class, together. AND I LOVE YOU GUYS. I can't imagine being in a different class next year. Boo.

Can you guys be more positive? We won't fail ALL the papers, we'll just fail some. But NOT ALL.

Today, i heard Mdm Wu talking to Mr Lam, saying that our total percentage passes for English is like 16%, or is it 26%? Anyways, the overall percentage passes for English in our class is very low. So, as the English Rep. and a nice student of 2A, i was just thinking of posting new words here in the class blog, so we could all learn them and use them in our daily lives, instead of using words like LAME and all(:
We could use the word pathetic instead of lame and scold people amoebas instead of using valgarities. That'll be cool(:
